## Why clients come to us

U.S. applicants filing in Europe must appoint a representative established in the
EEA for proceedings before the EUIPO. Applicants outside the United States must be
represented by a U.S.-admitted attorney before the USPTO (U.S. Counsel Rule, 2019).
We satisfy both requirements within one firm, so no correspondent counsel is needed.

## Important

Submitting a request does not create an attorney-client relationship. A mandate
begins only upon written confirmation and a signed engagement letter. No deadlines
are monitored before that point. Fee figures published on the site are indicative;
binding quotes follow an individual assessment.
